The first time you run Spotlight following install you will be prompted to configure Spotlight to upload data to Spotlight Essentials. Spotlight Essentials provides performance health analytics for your Oracle databases, analysis of your wait statistics and a comparison of your data with other users.
Spotlight Essentials is a free service. You are required to create an account on the Spotlight Essentials web site to use the service.
Tip: You can configure Spotlight for web based analytics anytime. Click View | Options | Spotlight for Mobile devices and web based analytics.
