On Ubuntu, follow these steps to modify the startup script for NetVault Backup.
These steps are required because the /var/lock folder resides on a temporary file system on Ubuntu and gets emptied each time the operating system is shut down.

On the General tab, clear the Enable library check box. Click Apply, and then OK to close the dialog box. |
