Configure Server Components dialog
Check the status of, install and/or uninstall the Log Reader Server Components for a SQL Server instance.

SQL Server |
Enter the name of the SQL Server instance or select it from the list.
You can click Open  to select from a list of available SQL Servers. |

Windows authentication |
Select this option to connect to the SQL Server instance using Windows authentication. |
|
SQL Server authentication |
Select this option to connect to the SQL Server instance using SQL Server authentication. Complete the Login name and Password. |

Status |
Indicates whether the Log Reader Server Components are installed on the SQL Server instance. Displays one of:

Version |
Displays the Log Reader Server Components version installed on the SQL Server instance. Where the Log Reader Server Components are not installed, displays 'None'. |
|
Check Status |
Click Check Status to check current status and version of the Log Reader Server Components on the SQL Server instance. |
|
Install |
Installs the Log Reader Server Components onto the specified SQL Server instance. |
|
Unistall |
Removes the Log Reader Server Components from the specified SQL Server instance. |
|
Repair |
Repairs the Log Reader Server Components on the specified SQL Server instance. |
