New in this release
This 5.7.3 release of Foglight for VMware accompanies the release of Foglight for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition 8.6. This release includes the following improvements:
- Added the Table Filter option in the Storage Explore All dashboard. (VFOG-13078)
- Added the VMW:Exclude Disks Registry Variable, to enable excluding specific VM logic disks. (VFOG-13032)
- Added VMs with Limits in the Environment Overview dashboard. (VFOG-12913)
- Added the VM power state in the Virtual Machine Summary view. (VFOG-12897)
- Changed the VMW Datastore Inactive rule to fatal, which allows to send an email to the default VMAdmin user. (VFOG-12861)
- Created a new rule management dashboard that includes the Alarm Type, Scope, and Notications tabs for customizing rules. (VFOG-12860/VFOG-12756)
- Added the Impacting and Source columns in the VMware Environment > Alarms table. (VFOG-12752)
- Added the support for navigating to a specific object in the VMware Environment dashboard through external links. (VFOG-12726)
- Added the support of vCenter 6.5. (VFOG-12677)
- Enabled the VMware LITE version by default, after installing the Foglight for VMware. (VFOG-12639)
