This guide provides instructions on how to upgrade to the latest version of the Management Server and Agent Manager for use with Foglight® for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition.

Foglight for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition 8.9.3 may be directly upgraded from version 8.8, 8.8.5, 8.9, 8.9.1, and 8.9.2. To upgrade from version 8.7.5, 8.7, 8.6, you must first upgrade the virtual appliance to version 8.8, then to version 8.9.3. For more information, see Upgrading Foglight for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition from a previous version.

Each of these components are versioned independently. For details, see Component versions.
The version number of the Foglight for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition release does not correspond to the version number of the Management Server. To view the version of your Management Server, click About in the lower right corner of the browser interface.
