Duplicate alarms show in Alarm Templates after changing the 'Unmodified Duplicate Alarm' in the template applied to the connection. (4379649)

In Spotlight for SQL Server 15.0 (or earlier) the duplicate alarm’s modification is applied to the connection. After upgrading to Spotlight Enterprise 15.1, the original alarm is applied, and the duplicate’s modification is lost.

To remove the incorrect alarm modification:

1. Edit the alarm in the affected connection.
2. Check the Factory Settings checkbox.
3. Click OK to remove the modification.

To re-apply the correct alarm modification, apply the desired change to the connection using a template, another connection, or by editing it directly.

Important NOTE - Ensure the alarm template used does not contain the duplication issue. If it does, refer to solution.
