1. Log on to the spclient
2. From the select menu , click spmoniter
3. click configure monitor from the spmoniter window opened .
4. Carefully go through the sp_nt_monitor.txt and make the necessary changes .
Example : If you want to monitor Import, Post process, Post queue and email you when the post queue crossed 20000 messages or processes are stopped, set as below:
Time Interval: 60
Host Name: < target server host name >
Send Email alert: 1
SMTP Server Name: smtpserver.yourcompany.com
Email Address: YourName@YourCompany.com
Cop: 0
Capture: 0
Read: 0
Export: 0
Import: 1
Post: 1
Capture Threshold: 0
Post Threshold: 20000
Monitor Event Log: 0
Redo Log Monitor: 0
Redo Threshold: 2
5. and click start monitor from spmoniter window.
