78034 SharePlex Manager 2.2.0.291 Hotfix (4331584)

• Hyperlinks disappear after hovering over them (CR98378).

• Alarms/Alerts continue to fire when Web Services becomes unavailable (CR97731).

The links are disabled unexpectedly.

Installing This Patch
 
To install this patch with a command console:

1)      Open a command shell or terminal on host where Foglight/SharePlex Manager is installed
2)      Change to Foglight folder (i.e., cd C:\Quest_Software\Foglight\)
3)      Change to Foglight 'bin' folder
4)      Execute 'fglcmd.bat -cmd cartridge:install -f C:\<<UPGRADE_CAR_FILE_FOLDER>>\SharePlexManager-2_2_0_291.car'
5)      Cartridge should now be installed & enabled
 
NOTE:  On UNIX Execute './fglcmd.sh -cmd cartridge:install -f /<<UPGRADE_CAR_FILE_FOLDER>>/SharePlexManager-2_2_0_291.car'.
 
NOTE:  If user/password needs to be specified, pass -usr & -pwd parameters to fglcmd (i.e., fglcmd -usr <usr> -pwd <pwd>).

To install this patch with a web browser:

1)       Open web browser to SharePlex Manager URL (i.e., http://localhost:8080)
2)       Login with administrative credentials
3)       Open left navigation drawer if not already open
4)       Click on 'Administration' link under 'Homes' section
5)       Click on 'Inventory' link under 'Cartridges' section
6)       Click on 'Chooose File' button
7)       Browse to & Select 'SharePlexManager-2_2_0_291.car' from <<UPGRADE_CAR_FILE_FOLDER>> location
8)       Click on 'Install Cartridge' button
9)       Cartridge should now be installed & enabled

NOTE:  Replace '<<UPGRADE_CAR_FILE_FOLDER>>' with value corresponding to where the upgrade cartridge file is located.

NOTE:  The old SharePlex Manager cartridge will be disabled automatically.
