Web service log of SharePlex Manager contains the clear text of user name and password used for adding new SharePlex connection which is a security violation.
WebServcies has these messages logged at INFO level - in Production mode.
WORKAROUND:
To remove logging clear text of username and password in the log, follow the work around given below.
Shutdown the adaptor and do the following.
In config/adaptor-setup.xml:
Add this within the production scope:
<scope name=link>
<log level=error show-object=true />
</scope>
Change the equivalent line in worker-resgitry scope (within production scope) to:
<log level=error show-object=true />
Status: Addressed in Shareplex Manager 2.0.
