Unexpected end of file while parsing Name has occurred, Line 1576, position12 (4267219)

When attempting to open the application the error “Unexpected end of file while parsing Name has occurred, Line 1576, position12” is displayed.

NOTE:  The line and position numbers may differ in another environment.

Unknown.  Most likely the SecureCopy.ssd file that contains the saved jobs has become corrupt.

Resolution 1:

1. Close the Secure Copy application. 
2. Rename the SecureCopy.ssd file in the installation folder.  The default location is C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Secure Copy 6.
3. Reopen the application.  Re-add job details.

Note: Be sure to keep a current backup of this file, in case corruption occurs.

Resolution 2:

Contact Support to create a SR (Service Request) and attach your SecureCopy.ssd file to the SR for investigation.  It may be possible to provide the missing information.
