When 2 Cores are replicating, agent's data is being copied from source Core to the target Core.In order to migrate protection of the agent from the source Core to the target, please do the following:
- on the source Core, click on the Replication icon in top-left iconbar
- expand the target Core name in Outgoing Replication by triangle
- select the protected machine that need to be migrated and click on Delete
On the target Core, perform the same operation in Incoming Replication for the migrated agent. Note: please do NOT select "remove recovery points" as it will delete all agent's data on the target Core.
Then simply protect the same machine using same method of protection, that it was on the source Core: agent-based or agentless. To determine which method was used, just check agent's Recovery Points. Agent-based RPs are usually contain volumes as C, D, etc. Agentless volumes are shown as \\Hard disk <number>\Volume <number> format.
Note: if all replicating agents' protection should be migrated from source Core to another, then there's no need to delete them one by one from replication links. Simply delete the whole replication link on both replicating Cores.
