Issue: Migration Agent crashes (4341173)

Overview

Migration Agent crashes without any obvious reason. Migration Agent logs do not contain any errors.

Solution

This issue is caused by using the incorrect .NET framework version. To fix this issue, the correct .NET framework version must be used:

1. Go to Migration Agent install directory. It is usually located here: c:\Program Files (x86)\Quadrotech\Migration Agent\ or c:\Program Files\Quadrotech\Migration Agent\
2. Locate file MigrationAgent.exe.config and open it
3. Search for line
4. Replace this line with:
5. Save and close the file
6. Execute the ResetMigrationAgent.exe file located in default installation directory.
