NetVault Database backup fails with a 'Failed during main database backup phase' error message.

The NVDB backup for NVBU 10 fails as soon as the logs section has been reached (even when the …\NetVault Backup\logs section was moved i.e. checking for log corruption):

The trace files show the following…

We also see that the NVDB plugin appears to backup "General Report Files" but not "Reports database". It seems to skip "Reports database" and goes directly to "logs db".
解决办法
The NVBU 10.0.1 version and above, has an additional setting and was introduced for the NVDB backup. The two settings are “Tar” and “Custom”. The default is “Tar” and has the following limitations:
• It requires a large amount of disk space to store temporary files during backup. The backup could fail if the tmp directory in the NetVault Backup installation directory does not have sufficient space to store the files.
• It has a table size limit of 8GB. Database tables that are larger than 8GB in size cannot be backed up using this format. In such cases, you can set the backup format to custom.
