The VTL resides on a NetApp Filer and the backup to the VTL failed with the following error message:
Error 2012/02/15 15:19:53 61 Media BACK02 BACK02 \\netapp\nv_vtl5$\VTL\drives\3: had channel error
解决办法
This was due to a network issue, as somebody during maintenance connected the backup server with a 100MB connection instead of a 1GB network connection to the network. After switching back to 1GB and reboot the server the issue was resolved.
