When is it recommended to use Azure Turbo Mode? (4241714)

Azure Turbo mode significantly improves migration speed for large migrations.

Requirements:

1. An Azure Storage Account is required to take advantage of Azure Turbo Mode with Migrator for Notes to SharePoint.
2. Storage Account Name
3. Access Key
4. Only available when Type is SharePoint web services (Office 365 Authentication)

1. Run a migration job
2. Migration data and attachments are generated locally
3. The generated data from step 2 are then uploaded to the Azure Storage Account
4. MNSP calls an API provided by Azure to migrate the documents to the target SharePoint Online

5. Finally MNSP Cleans up the temporary data on the Azure Storage account

How to enable Azure Turbo Mode:

1. Select SharePoint web services (Office 365 Authentication)
2. Click Settings
3. Click the checkbox next to Enable Azure Turbo Mode
4. Fill in the Storage Account and Access Key
5. If you are migrating confidential information, check Encrypt Content for extra protection at a small performance cost.
