Using the Lotus Notes client or the Domino Admin client perform the following steps to create a replica of a database.
- Locate and open the Domino Database on the Server.
- Create a new Local Replica (File, Replication, New Replica) and select a File Path location on a server or local workstation.
- Expand Replica Settings and remove the check mark for "Encrypt the local replica" and click OK.
- Locate the Replica Database and Open it
- Once the new replica database is created, close the original database. This is to ensure the correct database is being modified.
- Also remove the database from the replicator page by right clicking on it and selecting remove.
- Change the ACL of the database (File > Database or Application > Access Control)
- Remove all users and servers from the list leaving just -Default- permission.
- Set the -Default- Access to Manager with Delete documents.
Optional: Remove any documents or messages from the Domino database you do not want to provide to Quest.
