Public Folder synchronization to Exchange 2016 fails with one of the following errors:

I. Ensure that you can successfully log on to both MMEX_PFSA and MMEX_PFTA profiles, with OUtlook 2013.
Note: Make sure that no issues related to certificate validation occur when you run Outlook. For instance, if you use self-signed certificates for Exchange 2016 Servers, you need to log on to each agent host under the Agent Host Account and add certificate from to the Trusted Root Certification Authorities and Trusted Publisher lists.
II. If you can't log on to any of these profiles, please delete them and recreate, as follows:
1) Log on to agent host server with the Agent Host Account,
2) Open Start | Control Panel | Mail (32-bit) and click Show Profiles
3) Click Add and then specify the profile name (either MMEX_PFSA or MMEX_PFTA, respectively). Click OK.
4) Specify the administrator mailbox you plan to use for public folder synchronization.For details on creating MMEX_PFSA and MMEX_PFTA Outlook profiles and selecting Administrative mailbox for Public Folder synchronization job please refer to Creating Outlook Profiles for Public Folder Synchronization and Preparing Public Folder Mailboxes for Public Folder Synchronization sections of "Target Exchange 2016 Environment Preparation" document respectively.
