Maintenance plan fails with the following error message when the backup directory contains a dash (-):
"LiteSpeed 2005 could not open the Backup file"
The plan is failing because LiteSpeed is replacing the dash (-) with a question mark (?) in the job step. However, when the plan is initially created, this does not occur. The dashes are only replaced after the maintenance plan has been edited.
WORKAROUND
Do not edit a maintenance plan once it has been created. If changes need to be made, re-create the plan.
STATUS
Fixed in Version 4.8.3 of LiteSpeed.
