Issue
I found this error near the beginning of the migration log.
! Error: NSFNoteOpen returned 'Special database object cannot be located' opening view note
Solution
This usually means Notes Migrator cannot get the collection of documents in the folders.
Perform the following to resolve this issue:
1. Run compact -c on the server console for this user's mail file. Running a copy style compaction will rebuild the design list
Open the user's mail file, and press Ctrl+Shift+F9 to rebuild the view indexes.
Try the migration again.
If this does not work, then this usually means there is corruption in the source mail file. This is highly possible when the Notes mail databases are very old.
The solution is to create a new replica, and replace the original mail file with this new replica. Make sure the mail file name is the same.
Remove the migrated data.
Clear the migration history
Migrate the user again.
