We would like to use the Active Administrator for editing the AD instead of my users and groups MMC from Microsoft. We can't find the attribute editor anywhere. Isn't there a way to adjust a user's attributes via the Active Administrator?

An Enhancement request has been logged to have the ability to edit user/group AD properties to be considered for addition in a future version of Active Administrator.
