STATUS
Currently OS monitoring is a requirement for Alert Log monitoring in Oracle. An enhancement FOG-3450 has been logged to provide Alert Log monitoring for non-RDS instances using an Oracle SQL (non-OS) connection. This is planned for a future release of the Oracle cartridge.
