When running a "Paste List" job with Workflow options enabled to migrate workflow associations, the job may throw one or more of the following errors:
| Failed | Exception: Server was unable to process request. ---> Could not find a suitable history list on the target to apply the workflow association to. |
| Warning | Workflow History List Id 'dab5b3e5-8a37-41e1-a9db-48bcb821cf7f' is not available on target. |
| Warning | Workflow Task List Id 'e92e49ec-4166-46ed-981a-236c039b5604' is not available on target. |
Workflow history and tasks lists are considered as dependencies to migrate Workflow associations in a "Paste List" job. The above errors are thrown in those lists corresponding to the Workflow association that are not already copied to the target.
Workaround:
Copy the underlying Workflow history and Tasks lists to your destination, before migrating the list containing workflows using "Paste List".
