The fields NME checks:
1. Start date
2. Due date
3. Received date
4. Sent date
NME checks these in above order, the first one that NME locates is what is used. So if there is no start date; NME will use Due Date, if there is no Start Date or Due Date; NME will use Received date, and so forth.
