Error when trying to import client configurations and connecting to DB2. "db2cfimp.exe has encoun (4291646)

I can connect to Oracle without any problems, but when I try connect to DB2 I get the following error message:

In the connections dialog I click "Click here to create a new connection". I pick DB2 as the group. It brings up Client Configuration Wizard (click on button next to database alias). I click "Import Profile" link. I select profile file in dialog box then click "next"| "finish".

I get an error dialog:
"db2cfimp.exe has encountered a problem and needs to be close ...."

It closes and in the connection window is the message:
"SQL1022C There is not enough memory available to process the command.
SQLSTATE=5701"

Windows Task Manager - Performance tab shows there is plenty of memory
available.

I have the DB2 client installed and can connect to the database.

Issue with path to client configurations that are being imported.

The error "db2cfimp.exe has encountered a problem and needs to be close ..." suggests an issue with getting to or opening that file. The file is a client catalogue file. Double check the path to the catalogue information that you are trying to import.

1. Check that the path is actually acccessable.

2. Check that there are no spaces in the path to the client configuration file that you are trying to import.
EX:
"C:\tools\client config db2" --- spaces in path
"C:\tools\client_config_db2" --- no spaces in path

Before importing a profile, you must export your existing DB2 catalog entries from a DB2 client to a profile using the Connectivity Configuration Export Tool Command (db2cfexp).
