Toad requires a Teradata client to be installed as a pre-requisite. Please refer to the release notes as to which version of Teradata is currently supported and arrange to have the relevant Teradata Client installed.
** Note for version 4.1 and above, Toad will require the bit type of the Teradata provider to match the bit type of the installed Toad.
