Note: user connected to the appliances DB will be disconnected, please advise them to log back in once completed
Please follow below steps to solve this issue:
- Log in to the admin console (system console in case of MultiOrg)
- Go to Settings | Security Settings
- Uncheck "Enable database access" (this will disable it)
- Click the "Save and restart services button" (will not reboot appliance)
- once the services complete restarting, users should not have access to the DB
- Check "Enable database access" (this will enable it)
- Click the "Save and restart services button" (will not reboot appliance)
- once the services complete restarting, users should have access once more to the DB
- Test the connection using a SQL workbench (in this example mysql workbench)
