The 1721 is a Microsoft error and has something when you install an old program on a new OS like Windows2003. Sometimes the old program will overwrite new DLL with old Windows DLL file.

To fix the Big Brother installation, do the following:
1. From Control Panel | Add and Remove Programs
If you can Add or Remove Big Brother you can do a manual uninstall
2. Manually delete the Big Brother directory and subdirectories
3. Backup your registry
4. Search and delete anything related to Big Brother
Make sure you don't leave any entry on the registry and search for last digits "52098". This is the BB Product code.
5. Look for an empty file called QUEST with size 0bytes in the C:\program Files directory. Delete the file if there, else you should be fine.
Once you are done with the uninstalled BBNT, installed it again and all should be fine.
Note: The 52098 is for a manual registry in case of manual cleanup. Remove that registry key. Whole key is 5AD68BB6-944D-4605-901F-44F86C652098 but the last 5 alphas worked.
