Is it possible Import items from PST's with no owner mailbox to Archive Manager? -

You would like to import Mail Items from a PST that do not have a Mailbox in Exchange. Is it import them so they can be searched from AM. How can I run a generic import? -

Please create a new generic mailbox in Exchange and either restore the content from the PST files to this mailbox or copy the files using Outlook and allow Archive Manager to scan them from your Exchange environment and import them into the Archive.
You can not restore into a Virtual Mailbox. A virtual mailbox is simply an item in Archive Manager that you can assign Email Addresses to. When email addresses are assigned to the virtual mailbox, any email To/From that email address will be visible in the Virtual mailbox.
You can use Recovery Manager for Exchange to restore mail items to the generic Mailbox. You would have to create the generate user/mailbox and allow Archive Manager to create the mailbox, and then you can restore into it.
