In our Windows based scripted installs, we add drivers to the target computer during the installation. For Windows XP and other operating systems, these drivers are setup and installed through the Driver Feed.
The specific drivers causing the issue are mass storage drivers. The Windows source media generally does not contain any mass storage drivers other than the default IDE drivers, which is why when you install from the CD there are no errors.
Remove any mass storage drivers from the windows_xp directory in the K2000's drivers share and recache the drivers. The error should not reappear.
