Receiving ORA-00055: maximum number of DML locks exceeded during activation
说明

The following error is received when activating Shareplex config:

4 16-Jan-02 19:03 Error 1 Yes Error
Reason: Unexpected Oracle error: ORA-00055: maximum number of DML locks exceeded.
原因

Shareplex will lock all tables in config during activation if the total number of tables in config file exceeds the value specified for init.ora parameter DML_LOCKS.
解决办法

RESOLUTION 1:
Increase the init.ora parameter DML_LOCKS to a higher than the number of tables in the config file and bounce the database for the new parameter to take effect. Reactivate config.

RESOLUTION 2:
Use live option to activate config, Shareplex will then lock one table at a time.

sp_ctrl> activate config live
