UN-INSTALL: - Add/Remove Programs -> Remove Fastlane Migrator 6.0.1 - Choose to Delete the Database - Go into Registry and Deleted the Root Domain Manager Key from HKLM\Software\Fastlane\... - Make a copy of ..\Program Files\Quest Software\Fastlane Migrator\License.Bin - Delete the "...\Program Files\Quest Software\Fastlane Migrator" Directory
CHECK LIST BEFORE INSTALL: - Only Microsoft� Windows� 2000 platforms are supported - Windows 2000 Server and Advanced Server, Windows 2000 Professional (Service Pack 3 is required for all platforms.) - Microsoft� Access ODBC drivers on any computer running the FastLane Migrator console - Microsoft� Outlook� installed and configured for Exchange functionality (Collaboration Data Objects must be installed with Microsoft Outlook 2000.) - All Microsoft� Exchange 2000 System Admin tools installed on any computer running the FastLane Migrator console - Microsoft� Exchange 2000 Service Pack 3 on any computer running the FastLane Migrator console - Microsoft� SQL Server 2000 or Microsoft� Data Engine (MSDE) 2000 - ActiveX� Data Objects (ADO) version 2.6 or higher - Microsoft� Data Access Components (MDAC) version 2.6 or higher - After you install the Microsoft Exchange 2000 System Admin tools, you must start Microsoft Outlook at least once before you run FastLane Migrator. - Ping Source and Target DCs and Exchange Servers by Netbios and FQDN to ensure name resolution - Ensure the Logged on Account and Service account have Local Administrator Right to all DCs and Servers involved - Ensure the Logged on Account and Service account have Org Level Service Account Admin Rights on all Exchange Servers - Ensure connectivity to the SQL Server
INSTALL FASTLANE MIGRATOR: - Run the Executable or .MSI from the Install Directory where the Software is located - Walk through Install Wizard as normal - When Prompted Enter the Service Account Credentials of a User with Appropriate permissions as stated above - When Prompted Enter the SQL Server Information - When Prompted to Enter License Key Choose Exit - Finish the Install - Copy the Licene.Bin file to "..\Program Files\Quest Software\Fastlane Migrator\License.Bin" - Migrator is now available to Use.
