Creating a report in vRanger in My Reports

1. You can run a report under “My Reports”.
2. Right-click on the report you want (example; Backup Task Report). (vRanger identifies each VM backup as a Task, while the Job refers to the template where the policies are defined.)
3. Click on Add Backup Task Report.
4. Name the report and click Next>
5. Fill out the fields for Date Range, VM/Source/Repository, Duration
6. Choose option (Completed, Failed, Canceled and Aborted) to report on for both Job Status and Task Status.
7. Click Next>
8. Choose the columns (all are selected by default) you wish to have in your report and click Next>
9. Choose the page layout and click Next>
10. Choose to make this an on demand job (checkbox at the top) or run it under a schedule (uncheck box at the top) you prefer and click Next>
11. Click Finish on the Report Summary page.
