For more information on this topic, please see the Module 3 Advanced Administration Part One-Web-based Training
There are 4 parts to accomplish this:

2. Find and take note of the Default Printer by issuing the command cscript %windir%\system32\prnmngr.vbs -g .
3. In the Windows OS, you will get a line of the type The default printer is \\< >\< >
4. If you want to print to another printer, then, list all printers by issuing cscript %windir%\system32\prnmngr.vbs -l .
Part II:
1. From the NetVault GUI, select the operations drop-down and ‘Reports’.
2. Right-Click on a report that you want to be printed, select ‘Edit/view’.
3. On the ‘Schedule’ tab, choose the times at which you would like the report to be printed.
4. On the ‘Options’ tab, edit the "Event to raise on report completion box." Enter a name for the event. i.e. printreport.
5. Change the Job Title as to preserve the original canned report itself.
6. Do a ‘Save’ and close.
Part III
1. From the NetVault GUI, ‘Administration’ drop-down, select ‘Global Notification’
2. Look for the folder called ‘Report Job’. Under Report Job you should see "printreport" (or whatever you typed on the Options tab from Part I.)
3. Double click "printreport" you should see ‘Sysop Email’, ‘Sysop Operator message’, ‘Print Report’ and ‘Run a job.’ Select ‘Print Report’ and click ‘Save’.
Part IV
1. Go to the NetVault Configurator->Notification tab
2. Enter the required information in the Mail Server and Global Notification tabs
3. Enter on the "Default Printer" tab, the printer name exactly as it shows in step 2 of "Part I" above \\< >\< >
4. Click ‘Apply’
You can test the Print Report function by going back to the Reports module and doing a ‘Run and Notify’ on the new report name.
You need to either have the report job scheduled or select Run and Notify for the report to be printed.
