If you have 2 GPO admin servers in active/passive. Currently both servers show in the list when connecting to the server. Can a CName be used so its just the one server to connect to and update the DNS record when failing over?
GPOADmin does not support a failover configuration where one server is not visible until the other goes offline. The servers in the list are from the service connection points that are registered into AD when each GPOADmin server starts. We do not recommend that you modifies the registrations of the GPOADmin servers. If you chose to do this to keep one from being visible it is at your own risk.
