How to update and deploy cartridges using the Agent Manager dashboard (4295876)

How can a user update and deploy cartridges (such as the infrastructure cartridge) using the Agent Manager dashboard?

Some cartridges such as the Infrastructure (hostagent.gar) and Sybase cartridges do not include a wizard to update and deploy the cartridge from the Global view databases dashboard, how can these cartridges be deployed to the FglAMs (Foglight Agent Managers)?

When a newer cartridge is released with a different Build ID but having the same version number, how can this cartridge be deployed to the FglAMs? 

As the new cartridge updates use the same cartridge version number as the previous release, users must upgrade the cartridges on the FMS manually. Unlike a new database cartridge version upgrade, there is no wizard available to automatically update the cartridges that use the same build ID.

After the newer cartridge has been installed and enabled in the Cartridge Inventory page:

1. Navigate to Administration | Agents | Agent Managers
2. Select the checkbox next to the agent managers with a "Yes" in the Upgradable | Agent column
3. Click the Upgrade button
4. Follow the wizard to update the cartridges to the newest release. The FglAM will restart in the background as the update completes.
