Active Directory dashboards do not show the Windows Server version of the Domain Controllers (4380917)

Active Directory dashboards do not show the Windows Server version of the Domain Controllers. The following errors are present the Foglight Management Server (FMS) logs:

WORKAROUND

The following steps can be completed in Foglight Evolve 7.1 and 7.3 to update the get Windows Version Short Name for Any Server and get Windows Version Short Name w SP and Build functions from the Active Directory cartridge (the logged in Foglight account must have the "Cartridge Developer" to edit the functions):

1. Go to Configuration > Definitions
2. Select and expand Active Directory
3. Select Functions from the dropdown list
4. Search for "get Windows Version Short Name" (include the quotes)
5. Select get Windows Version Short Name for Any Server
6. Select Edit and backup the existing script
7. Replace the script content with the attached script adFunctionGetWindowsVersionShortNameforAnyServer.groovy and save changes
8. Select get Windows Version Short Name w SP and Build
9. Select Edit and backup the existing script
10. Replace the script content with the attached script adFunctionGetWindowsVersionShortNameSPBuils.groovy and save changes

This has been logged as defect Id. FOG-12213 and is waiting for a fix in a future release of Foglight Evolve.
