While troubleshooting Essentials Sharepoint connectivity issues, the Metalogix Essentials was deleted in the Entra tenant, Enterprise Apps list. However with OAuth enabled, and going through the SP Connect, Claims, Essentials does not initiate the whole process and migration admin is not being prompted to create a consent, which is creating an Enterprise App. It's initiating a prompt to authenticate, which passes successfully, but there's no secondary popup with consent and rights, that will be assigned to the Metalogix Essentials app.
Multiple stored credentials in the browser or Windows credentials vault
To resolve the issue, when being prompted to authenticate, there will be a list with stored credentials for multiple other sites. Please click on "..." against each credential, except the tenant we're working with, and select Forget. Then proceed with the Microsoft tenant's credentials normally.
