"The user name or password is incorrect" displayed when creating a SharePoint Template
说明

When creating a SharePoint auditing template in ChangeAuditor Client, the SharePoint Topology scan fails with the error:

Failed to scan SharePoint topology: NetProLib::Security::AccessToken::LogonUserW: LogonUserEx fails Error: The user name or password is incorrect."

The password has been verified and re-entered but the error persists.
原因

The Active Directory account for the user account entered for the SharePoint Auditing template is missing the "User logon Name" in Active Directory.
解决办法
Add the "User logon Name" for the Active Directory account in Active Directory:
1. Open Active Directory Users and Computers
2. Locate the User object
3. Right-click the User object and select Properties
4. Click the Account tab
5. Enter the appropriate "User logon Name"
6. Click OK

If the issue persists, create a new User account that contains a "User Logon Name"
