Workaround 1:
- Uninstall the Change Auditor 6.6 Coordinator.
- Roll back the database to a backup copy taken prior to the Change Auditor 6.5 upgrade.
- If a new 6.x License file has already been obtained, re-install the Change Auditor 6.5 software, and point it to the restored database. If only a 5.x License is available, re-install the same version of 5.9 that was last used, and when the Coordinator is Running, re-upgrade to 6.5.
- Wait for the migration to complete. The status will be displayed in the bottom right corner of the Change Auditor Client. If the status isn't displayed, close and re-open the client.
- Once the migration is complete, proceed to upgrade to Change Auditor 6.6
Workaround 2:
Contact Quest for specific instructions regarding making a modification to the database, and then upgrade to Change Auditor 6.7.
Resolution:
TF00432653 has been addressed in Change Auditor 6.6.716 and higher. Please note, due to this change, it may be necessary to perform the upgrade as the same Windows Account as the one currently used to access the SQL database. If SQL Authentication is being used, this is not an issue.
