Cannot assign message policies to mailbox child folders in GroupWise (4344048)

In a GroupWise environment, Archive Manager message policies defined for folders within a mailbox are not applied.

This is a limitation of the GroupWise environment, but the Archive Manager "Message Policy Assignment" screen does not explain that any entries for these features will be ignored. GroupWise does not support different message policies for different folders within a given user's mailbox. In a GroupWise environment, therefore, any entries in the Inbox, Sent Item and Deleted Item tabs are ignored as irrelevant.
