What happens when you perform a backup of the Full Text Index using the -backup switch in Arch
说明

When running the command below, it merges the current index and the saved merged index in c:\backup_location folder in a compressed format.
"Archive Full Text Index Service.exe" -backup c:\backup_location
Previous versions used to create a .bak file of the orginal index folder.
原因

This functionality change is by design.
解决办法

Enhancement request CR ST91688 has been logged to update the Archive Manager Admin guide to explain this backup switch feature in more detail.
