Download Active Administrator latest update byClicking Here. This is in case you want to install the most recent version in the new server and upgrade your database to the most recent version. If you only want to move your product to a new server keeping the same current version, then you may use the same installation files that were used in your old server.
Copy installation files to your new server.
Copy the Active Administrator shared folder (by default located at C:\ActiveAdministrator) from the original AA server to a local NTFS volume on the new AA server.
Remove the AA audit agents from the original AA Console | Auditing & Alerting | Agents.
On the new server, launch the AA Server install in the autorun screen | Install tab.
Once installed, the AA Configuration Wizard will launch.
The beginning of the Wizard will require you to browse to and select the Active Administrator license.
The next stage will prompt to use an existing databases or create new. Use existing and browse to and select the SQL server/Instance hosting the Active Administrator databases.
Select the databases.
Continue through the AA Wizard defaults.
Launch the AA Console install in the autorun screen | Install tab.
Launch the AA Console and select from the drop down menu the local server name.
Once it successfully loads for the first time, expand Auditing & Alerting | Agents.
