Incremental backup performing only full backups due to "Excluded vms" (4046643)

All backups which should be incremental are performing full backup.Inside job configuration, there are excluded vms.

Bug in vRanger software.

There are 3 possible resolutions:

A.) Please uncheck all VM’s which are excluded inside backup job “Excluded vms” configuration page.

or

B.) Upgrade your vRanger version to 5.2.X or above

C.) Configure your vRanger backups to use Custom Backup Groups. Information for this can be obtained from the vRanger User Guide on Pg. 93

This issue will be resolved in the 5.3.1 line of vRanger product code. Please check back on our website http://support.quest.com for software updates.
