Vranger 5.2 fail to upgrade with errror message "vRanger Pro service cannot be stopped"
Description

When trying to upgrade to vRanger 5.2, the error come
"vranger backup and replication version 4.5.3.17315 is installed on your system. Would you like to upgrade it to 5.2.0.22058"
errror message "vRanger Pro service cannot be stopped"
Cause

When Yes is selected then it proceeds thru the screens and tries to stop the old 4.5.3 services "vRanger pro service" which no longer exists and this old service was removed in the previous upgrade.
Resolution

This should be able to resolve this issue.
Click Start, the Run.
Type regedt32.exe and click run. Select the root Computer object in the left key tree. Select Edit from the File menu and Find… In the Find what: field search for the version # (ie 4.5.3.17356 etc). The Key for vRanger Pro will be displayed. vRanger Backup & Replication should be under a different key right above this one. Delete the key that contains the value for 4.5.3. Close regedt32.
Now, rerun the upgrade installer. Now that there is only reference to 5.0 in the registry, the upgrade should proceed as expected.
