vRanger VA based replication fails with error: An internal error occurred during execution, please contact Quest support if the error persists. Error Message: Unable to successfully load and create host system
One cause of this error is running a replication job configured to use a virtual appliance (VA) that has been removed from the vRanger VA inventory.
Possible resolution:
Verify if the VA is in vRanger VA inventory by going to tools >> options >> virtual appliance configuration screen.
If it is not check to make sure the VA is still on ESX hosts and powered on. If it is add back to vRanger.
If it has been deleted, re-deploy VA.
NOTE: You may want to check datstore as well to make sure it was not just deleted from inventory to save time having to re-deploy.
