Restoring to different network creates Virtual Machine with no network adapter
Description
Restoring a Virtual Machine in vRanger 7.5.1 to a different network leaves the Virtual Machine without NIC. If you restore the Virtual Machine to the original network using default settings, it successfully creates the VM with its network adapter.
Cause
This has been identified as a product defect (VR-181)
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Restore the VM without powering on with the default settings.
Change the network properties of the VM to the network label or DVS port required.
To resolve this issue, please download and upgrade to vRanger Backup & Replication 7.6.4 or higher.
