Title

user root cannot be authenticated.
Description

When doing backup or replication the following error appears "user root cannot be authenticated" and job fails
Cause

The password of the VA was manually changed and not updated in vRanger causing authentication to VA to fail
Resolution

1. Remove all affected VA's from vRanger in the TOOLS->Options, Virtual Appliance Configuration menue
NOTE: You DO NOT need to DELETE from VMWare
2. Add VA(s) back making sure user puts in the correct password(s)
3. Edit all affected Jobs so that they adapt the new VA configuration
4. Run Test job
