Upgrade Virtual Hardware and VMware Tools in Virtual Appliances (VAs) -
Description
Our VMware vSphere environment has newer versions of Virtual Hardware and VMware Tools available and we want to keep all our VMs up to date.
Is it fine to upgrade these in the vRanger Virtual Appliances (VAs)?

Resolution
We do not support upgrading vRanger VAs' Virtual Hardware or VMware Tools.
The VAs has been developed and tested with the versions they're deployed with, it is advisable to keep these custom settings.
In the VAs' Summary tab in vSphere Client, it is expected behavior to see VMware Tools: "(?) Running (Guest managed)".
