Description

When trying to add a repository to a vRanger 6.1 instance that is installed on Windows 8.1 / 2012 R2 the following message will be encountered:
Failed to connect to repository. Please verify your credentials (if applicable) and ensure the directory path is correct.
Cause

Windows 8.1 / 2012 R2 does not meet the software requirements for vRanger 6.1.
Resolution

Support to install vRanger onto Windows 8.1/2012 R2 will be included in the 7.0 build of vRanger.
