Error received when connecting to Azure SQL with MFA.

AADSTSxxxxxx: An unexpected, non-retryable error stemming from the directory service has occurred. Authentication type is informed: Active Directory Universal with MFA, Login and Application ID
Cause

MFA connectivity is not supported for Managed Instance for Toad for SQL server 8.0

Resolution

WORKAROUND:

NA

STATUS:

This issue has been identified as a defect in Toad for SQL Server and is waiting for a fix in a future release of 8.1.
